Yard Drainage

Landscape and yard drainage are one of the most important aspects of a landscape project. Drainage ensures that your yard can be enjoyed year round and more importantly it keeps the inside of your home clean.

  • french drains (Pooling, puddling, saturated soils)

  • tying in downspouts (move water away from home and foundations)

  • catch basins (pinpoint problem areas)

Roots destroy drainage pipes

Especially Redwood trees, Liquid Amber trees, Poplar trees, Elm trees, and Maple trees.

French Drain Installation

For french drains it is essential to wrap the trench in a permeable drain fabric prior to installing any drainage pipe or gravel. This fabric acts as a filter and prevents the perforated drain pipe and gravel from clogging from the surrounding soils.
